I'm nearly convinced the true villain is *other* than Tobi, Madara and or Madara... this whole thing about Obito and Madara and Kabuto bit just seems too convent too be nothing more than a way for Naruto and Sasuke to become more than what they were before their introduction... (yes that also means Akutski). Coupled withthe fact Oro may have been upgraded with not only intellegence from, but also from Kabuto's "recent works" (not going into details in case it's a spoiler at this stage).

We can't believe Kishi wants us to believe the worst of his story telling no Jutsu... And I'm sure he would NOT want us to believe this belief of such either... (believe the worst of him being that we should believe that he wants us to believe the current plot is the true wave of things). This is all also due to the fact that we were supposedly informed that Kishi has allegedly claimed that there is many more chapters to come... (more or less).

Basically I believe the villains that have returned (time and time again) are the real threat, as they haven't any "baggage" (or considered emo)...

Then we also can't say for sure that the Juubi doesn't have an intelligence to it; which could be talking thru someone at this time or otherwise... (less about this mention tho; mostly about the belief that Madara and company aren't truly the ends all protagonists here, as the current plot seems to convieant; much like saying "what's too good to be true, usually is"), as I said above: Kabuto a powerup for ORO (and intel powerup), Tobi a powerup for Sasuke, and Madara a powerup for Naruto. Alternatively Madara and Tobi ultimately being a powerup for both Naruto and Sasuke.

Edit: I'm sure I don't need to name off all the weak plot holes already shown in the series... That should be commen knowage.

I think it's been rather obvious that Sasuke is being set up as the final villain.

The classic Elder Son vs. Younger son battle will happen.

Not so much 'wasted', as a powerup is never wasted ultimately... But ultimately in some sense. Also ultimately he has "wasted years" with Luther character development, as with Hinatas crush/love (which not served one practical use ultimately--the Pain match), and the ultimate chase for Sasuke, coupes with the ultimate affection towards Sakura... Just too name a few... (unless I missinterpited your meaning of wasted?)

Edit: @Madara fans: I didn't say he didn't know what he's doing; simply, who agrees that these are plot powerups; nothing more... Ultimately speaking of course.
