imo he falls more into the cool category like kakashi and j-man. characters like madara, pain tobirama, tobi and itachi are the badass type. then there are those like kisame, orochimaru, deidara etc who have a particular vibe which is hard to label, those are my favourites

Orochimaru, Tobi, Kisame, Kakashi, Gai have unique personalities and badassary.

minato was always badass always he just jovial unlike the other badass who are so serious why so serious nagato/itachi/madara
