[Theory] "Whitebeard really did a number on me"

Guys, all this time I thought Whitebeard was stronger than Kaido.


But I've been thinking, and there's something that came to my mind. Lately many things that I thought came out and there are some theories of mine that are yet to come out, which I am sure about that they'll happen.


Getting back to point, the panel where Kaido said that Whitebeard did a number on him, I read the sentence again, and first he says "Shit I am alive.. again..", then he says the thing about Newgate. Why would he go from sadness cause he didn't die to Whitebeard?


What many people probably thought was that he meant that Whitebeard kicked his ass.

But isn't it more logical that he was angry that Whitebeard died before him?


It isn't sure they clashed, BUT:


If they did than maybe the aching wound Whitebeard was referring to when he saw Shanks was from Kaido?

If they didn't clash than ask yourself this, if Whitebeard was stronger, why didn't Kaido just challange him if he really wanted to die?


I know that when Whitebeard was alive he was called the strongest person in the world, but maybe that is a 'flaw' in One Piece, just like how they made Kaido look before the manga of a few weeks ago.

What if Kaido was stronger than WB?

Whitebeard is stronger in my opinion and I also think shanks can beat kaido as well

I can't say if WB was stronger, but it's likely.

The fact that WB was stronger doesn't mean he could have killed Kaido, WB seemed logical even if he could, he wouldn't.

WB was the strongest man even when Kaidou was alive so obviously WB>Kaidou. WB has the power to defeat Kaidou but never enough to kill him and WB himself was probably laid out on the verge of death. Now that WB is dead, Kaidou is now the strongest which obviously means he is stronger than Shanks. Its pretty simple.

Kaidou tried killing himself and then said "WB really did a number on me". He is probably referring to the times WB beat the shit out of him and how WB was his best bet at death. No other ways of killing himself doesn't compare to WB.
