[Discussion] Whitebear has some connection to Kaidou's immortality

The MP translation wasn't much proof but now it's pretty clear. Kaidou can't die because of something WB did. I know people weren't accepting that earlier this morning but can we agree now, WB had something to do with why Kaidou can't/won't die.

I think he is desperate to die (as you see he commits suicide) and this is just him envying whitebeard's death.

I think whitebeard may have been the only one kaido thought could kill him which is why he wanted to fight him and now has a grudge against him.

I don't think WB made him immortal. More like Kaido wanted to kill WB for some reason but WB died and Kaido is envies the fact that WB died with such glory, he was wounded to the max and still died standing in the war of the best.

Kaido is probably trying to die with similar glory which is the reason why he is trying to start another war since the main reason why he even wanted to be alive is dead and even while dying he outshined Kaido so he wants to either

1. Die because he has lived long enough and has no more reason to live since WB is dead or 2. Wants to die in glory so he starts another war.

Perhaps, the way it read made it sound like he was blaming WB for not dying. I get the feeling that WB's crew had the Ope Ope no Mi and Kaidou was trying to die at the hands of WB back then so he kept attacking him over and over with WB never killing him(possibly the majority of those captured by an enemy numbers) When WB learns why Kaiou keeps attacking him he has his Ope Ope no Mi user(who is near death since WB wouldn't sacrifice one of his children for this) use the immortality tech on Kaidou in hopes it will make Kaidou stop attacking him as much. This could also be the reason why Kaidou wanted to take out WB at MF, he's angry at WB for taking his death away so he wants to attack him at MF, no other Yonko tried to take advantage and take out WB.

I think the number WB did on him was dying in a blaze of glory thats not so easily surpassed hence even when he thought of killing himself by plummeting to the ground off of a high place it had to be a legendary place hence the history on Sorajima at the begining of the chapter.

So all Kaido wants is to go out in legendary fashion as Roger and WB did and its not as though this wanting or rather going down in a fashionable manner is new to One Piece, every D and those smiles before Death and Zoro hat time when in Candle set he decided to do a warrior's pose when he realised he wld b turned into a statue.
