In the manga, Black Zetsu reveals that he is the one that pulled the white Zetsus out of the Gedo Mazo and how there were people who were caught in the previous Tsukuyomi, who were turned into white Zetsus.
That they were not clones cultivated from Hashi's dna (which Madara believed).

White Zetsus have also been revealed to similar to Hashirama's dna (Sakura and Shizune their dna research for example, among other examples).

So Hashirama's DNA is somehow similiar to the Shinju and those who get caught in infinite Tsukuyomi, get turned into Shinju DNA Zetsus. That seems to be the case. That explains why their DNA is similar to Hashirama.
I wonder if black Zetsu has something to do with Hashirama having Mokuton and thus having this Shinju like DNA.

The only people with access to Mokuton, without implanting Hashi's DNA, that we know, are:
1-Kaguya (it was used in her giant bijoudama).

Everyone else uses Hashirama's DNA and Kaguya probably has Mokuton, thanks to being a jinchuriki of the Juubi/Shinju.

Hashirama is no jinchuriki, yet he has Mokuton, and noone else is known who is born with it.
Isnt that weird that he is the only one in the series who has inherited the Mokuton?

Maybe someone, like Black Zetsu, has given him that power, without him knowing?
That Black Zetsu influenced both sides. He changed the tablet of the Uchiha and he made sure one of Ashura's transmigrants, Hashirama, received the Mokuton.

Other possiblity. You need to be born with water and earth affinity + a kekkei genkai to combine elements + huge amount of chakra, especially yang affinity + you need to be a transmigrant of Ashura/have Ashura's chakra and that all these conditions had not happened before Hashirama.

I do think his Mokuton is related to the Shinju somehow, that's obvious with the connection White Zetsus have with Hashirama's DNA as you said. I don't think it would have Black Zetsu that gave him that power. I know he said he tried to influence both sides but could he really gift Hashirama Mokuton? That seems more of something the Sage would do. The Sage said in the past that he had given Ashura's descendants power rather than both before. He could be implying that he gave Hashirama power in the past.

VIZ cleared up that wood in kaguyas dama was wrong translated. It's water.

I think Ashura chakra is connected to it, cause Naruto also make Zetsu blooms!

It's still a very unsolved mistery that's true.

Chances to get the answer from kishi are not high :/

Every body is/are scatter chakra, just pieces to Kaguya.

I think it would be reasonable for Ashura incarnates to have mokuton and other forms of life energy.

Ashura has Gudodama's too, there could be a possibility that he shared the same properties as Kaguya's Gudodama.

I just don't know why BZ would want to help power Hashi up when he clearly isn't going to go along with BZ plans to end the world. Maybe he did it to help push Madara to his limits? Yup, for example.

Yeah I also never understood why his mokuton was so effective at stopping Kurama and otehr powerful beings like Madara and the Juubi. Why weren't other Kekkei Genkei effective? But with the idea of BZ giving it to him it would make alot more sense.
