On this page there is a white zetsu who changes into a tree.
But why is he there?
How did he get there?
How did he die?
Why did he become a tree like when naruto attacked some white zetsu's and turned them to trees?
Since hashi's cells were used to create white zetsus, why can't hashirama control them?

White Zetsu found in Sasuke and used as sacrificial body for the edo kages. The one used for hashirama turn into tree after Hashirama's chakra that was released touched it. Just like when Naruto chakra touched the white Zetsu.

I believe it's because that's what happens when Zetsu are exposed to rich chakra. The same thing happened near the start of the war when KCM Naruto destroyed a Zetsu, and a jutsu used by Hashiramas chakra would suffice as a rich chakra as well.
