i had high hopes for white zetsu. i mean, he could clone himself to roughly 100,000 and he had the 1st hokages dna (from yammoto) and yet, he is getting dominated by everyone. im sure he has killed some people but overall, he is useless. i think he should have been at least able to use wood style since he had the dna for it. but thats just me.

The white zetsus are basically like clones so don't expect much from them. The black zetsu on the other hand hasn't been shown much but I think Kishi is saving him for something big.

yeah, thats what i am hoping. the only thing i know he can do is record fights. but idk.

you are right, i forgot about that but on the other hand, naruto came in and destroyed them in one punch with yet another new power...

White Zetsu's whole purpose in the War was to absorb the chakra of his enemies during the initial battles (day one) and cause chaos for the rest of the war. Since he makes identical copies of people down to their chakra, this would have worked if Naruto hadn't shown up. Nobody could tell the difference between the clones and the real people except for the feeling of hatred that the clones possessed.

I'm fairly certain that Black Zetsu is dead. Chojiro sliced him in half and he was surrounded by some of the more powerful/consistent supporting characters in the series.

It's a rough life being cannon fodder or just a distraction. Basically he was a "filler" for the army force to make it tougher for those fighting the stronger enemies.
