You don't see the issue with wanting to ban the Quran and equating it to Mein Kampf?
You do realize that the Quran teaches to kill nonbelievers among other horrid and disgusting acts. It's a book that teaches tribalism and hatred for non-Muslims. The book is unacceptable in reality, but because we're nice, we allow the book to be read.

Most old books say similar things. The bible says its okay to own slaves and beat them, so long as you don't kill them, and Christianity has been responsible for the deaths of millions as well. Yet we don't have people running around saying we need to ban the Bible. Outside of religion beliefs such as Nationalism, which has its own books, have killed millions as well.

Play this game a few times, it mixes up bible and quran quotes and has you guess which is which:

The reality is that people in poor areas, rife with violence, and lacking in education will always be susceptible to radicalization regardless of the book being used to do it, if a book exists at all. Its an aspect of humanity that has been happening in pockets of the world throughout history. Islam is nothing unique in this regard, and if it didn't exist something else would take its place in that area of the globe. You don't fix it by banning a book, you fix it through peace and education. By affording those things to refugees you do more to solve the problem than by leaving them to rot in war zones.

The difference between poor Christians and poor Muslims is this, one book promotes jihad and radicalization, the other doesn't. You're talking about laws that were made for the Isrealites in the Old Testament, which don't apply to Gentile Christians. Christianity did not promote warfare as a means of conversion, but simply spreading it, unlike Islam.

Right now, Christianity despite whether you believe those laws are still applicable today, doesn't participate in them or believe them to be acceptable to do in today's society. Islam on the other hand is a different book, who's violent laws are still believed in and carried out today by Muslims. If Muslims didn't follow a single violent religious text, no one would be complaining. If they weren't so sexist, racist, and backwards, then people wouldn't be so against them.

Christian violence is still very much a thing, but it mostly happens in Africa and India rather than the West so you rarely hear about it.

And let's not act like 500 years is some incredibly long time. In the scope of human history it's the blink of an eye. The people of the 1500s, when the Spanish Inquisition was converting indigenous people through violence and religious wars were fought in the name of the Christian God, are no different than the people of today. The only difference is that Europe, America, and parts of Asia went through an extraordinary period of growth that raised education and prosperity for all.

Thank God that guy is absolutely nuts, a real fascist

Im glad that the people of the netherlands recognized that and will not give up the rights of others and accept in oppressing them

Tbh i'd thought you'd go for that kind of thing
Well, his party is called 'Partij Voor de Vrijheid' which stands for 'party for the freedom'. Which is a bit ironic of You look at all the restrictions upon our freedoms he's trying to implement. He had very good points but his cons outweigh his pros.
