I decided to go down now, only 3 min. left anyway; I peek at the kitchen door, it was empty then the living room, still empty? ?Better get something to it? I said to myself; I haven?t eaten yet since I woke up.
I then checked the fridge and found some chips ?chips? Good enough? it was fine as long as I don?t starve, I?ll eat anything; I checked the clock once more and it was exactly 11:30.
I went out then saw them getting ready in the car, ?oh, you?re here, what took you so long?? bro asked as he locked the door behind me; I don?t really want to talk so I just kept on eating, we just got in the car and no one bothered to talk.
I looked at bro, he was wearing simple jeans and a blue shirt with dragon prints on the back, I looked at his face he seem to have fallen asleep; he always does sleep when we travel by car, I guess he gets car sick easily.
I continued to munch on my chips; bro?s sleeping face sure isn?t that boring to watch but I want to get some ideas, where would I go exploring and what would I make as an excuse?
I decided to watch the scenery now, so I looked out the window, that?s it, my sketchpad! I could use it as an excuse, of course I was planning on drawing something while on this trip, and it?s a perfect plan. I thought, surely no one would question me when I want to draw.
Now we were out of the city and into the mountains, nature sure is wonderful; I just blankly stared out the window, trying to remember? my chips were soon forgotten, it was so fun back then, like in the photos, wonder where did those days go? I didn?t notice a teardrop fell; I then closed my eyes and went to sleep it was a long drive anyway.

I saw Elli go out the front door ?oh, you?re here, what took you so long?? I asked locking the door but she was busy with her chips so we just got in the car.
I soon as we drove off I closed my eyes, Elli was still eating her chips, guess she was hungry getting up late; I could even hear her munching as well as feel her stare at me, I didn?t like the stare but her munching was okay, I don?t like deafening silence anyways.
It was a 2 hrs drive to granny; I?m not that excited though, I always get bored being there but Elli seems to like it; I guess grandma and grandpa?s story entertain her.
I was slowly drifting to sleep as she diverted her eyes onto the window, then I realized she wasn?t eating anymore, it couldn?t be that she already ate it all; it was the largest lays there is, even she couldn?t finish it alone that fast.
Why is she that quiet? She was a slow eater so she couldn?t be done? I opened one eye just to see if she was ok.
It surprised me to see that a teardrop feel, it didn?t even look like there was any reason for her to cry, I was about to ask her but she closed her eyes I?ll just let her be, for now, I?ll sleep as well? I thought but couldn?t sleep, it was so silent and I didn?t get to bring my mp3.

I soon woke up, the scenery changed, it was filled with houses and we didn?t seem to be moving anymore, I checked my watch it was 2 in the afternoon ?oh, dear your awake? I heard mom say weird mom?s talking to me? I thought to myself. ?We?re here? bro then said as he opened the door.
I sat up then yawned? it sure was nice to sleep, I looked out the window and there was granny?s house ?ah! Granny, Grandpa!? I said happily as I went out to greet them.
?It?s been so long?? I said while hugging them both ?yes dear, it was? granny said, bro then came ?how are you?? he asked ?fine, just fine dear? grand-dad answered; it was a happy reunion indeed.
That night I couldn?t sleep, I wasn?t used to sleeping anywhere else than my own bedroom; bro didn?t mind, he was pretty used to it.

?Where are we going?? I asked following someone from behind, ?don?t worry, you?ll love it there? he said facing me; it wasn?t the same boy nor was it bro, it was someone else.
He was taller than me, I have to look up to see his face, but he was still young no older than 10 ?okay now close your eyes? he said, I just stared at him for a sec. then closed my eyes; he held my hand as we continued walking, finally getting out he said ?okay, you can open your eyes now?
I did what he told me to ?wow?? I said in awe; it was a huge waterfall with a river flowing underneath, I could see the water shimmering as the sun shone on top of it.
I walked near the riverbank just to see my clear reflection; I heard him walking towards me, a stood and was about to face him when he pushed me from behind ?ah!? I shouted as I fell into the water; I was soaking wet.
I glared at him ?why did you do that?!? I screamed, he just laughed then jumped in ?to have fun with my cute little sis? he said smiling, now wet just like me; all day we played, splashing water and laughing together.

?Could the heart once broken ever fully love again? A little less, each time it was a little harder for the heart to heal, a little less easy to give and trust. Someday it might never heal or love again?
