GOD. DAMMIT. I told you! I told you dogg! I told you not to post that pic, and here comes the rant!

White has a connection with things which are dead, things which WILL die, and things which WILL kill and HAVE killed. Oro summoned the Kages and killed Kazekage. Sarutobi summons DEATH, and dies, Minato summons Death, and dies, Konan confronts Tobi, and dies, Kimimaro fights Lee and Gaara, and dies. Kages wear white, and Kages kill bullshit amounts of people.

Now Obito, who was lethal as **** BEFORE, and has survived ridiculous stuff before. Now he has absorbed the Juubi (which already gave us the first Main-Character-death of the War) and has proven himself FAR more dangerous than it. He has also turned nearly completely white.

Someone is going to die.

So in other words you don't know whether or not Obito being white means he's going to kill someone else, or he's going to die himself. Half of your examples were of people who were associated with white and didn't kill anyone but instead died themselves.

I don't think he's going to kill anyone, but he's going to die. If he does kill anyone, it will be akamaru since he's a white dog so that means his time is long overdue

I think someone major will die as well, but I have no idea who that might be.

An interesting candidate would be Sasuke: He's not the main character, he's not a true villain any more, he's right up next to Obito, and it would STILL be totally unexpected. We've just gotten so used to him always surviving.

True. But I did mention how Obito has survived ridiculous shit before. And honestly, having the final villain ascend to his final form and then just immediately DIE is pretty bad storytelling. People die in Naruto. Good, central characters die in Naruto. And only Neji has perished as yet in the bloody World War. It's time.

I don't know if you say the edit to my first post but I think if anyone else dies it's going to be akamaru and I guess kiba along with him. akamaru is white dog after all so I guess his time is long overdue right?

No seriously though that was a good point you made about color schemes in manga I never really paid attention to that. You've given me a new perspective on manga now.

I've got a list. I so hope you're right too, because Kishi has been trolling death worse than his idol. In DBZ guys should have bit the bullet a whole bunch of times before getting senzu beans or Dende heals. Now it's Naruto power ups.

I liked reading this. Yes, characters do need to die soon.

I'm thinking Juugo will die next. Sasuke has not lost someone since Itachi, whereas Naruto has lost Jiraiya (when Sasuke lost Itachi) and Neji. Kishimoto likes to have parallels in the development of these two characters. So I think Juugo or some other member of Taka will die next.

Honestly, Taka seems pretty safe to me, at least for the moment. Point the first: They're pretty far from the action at this point. Point 2: They really aren't very important to the READERS. Itachi, Jiraiya and Neji WERE. Neji dying was unexpected. Neji dying was SHOCKING, and Neji dying was regrettable. I liked Neji myself.

Taka, on the other hand, aren't as developed as Neji was OR as liked. Most of the 'base, for example, would probably go "meh" or, in the case of Karin, "Good." (Karin sucks).

Now, whose death would be both unexpected, sad AND surprising?

My money's on Sasuke, Hinata or Sakura.

Naruto is a parallell to Obito, but one thing he HASN'T felt is a similar loss to Rin's death.

If someone is to die, it might very well be someone important.
