White haired konoha shinobi...

Kishi never left a clue on what clan Jiraiya was from so i am going to base it on the hair color....
other than sakumo,kabuto, tobirama, kakashi, and Itama.. no other Konoha Shinobi has white hair.....
Yakushi kabuto was not an original Konoha Shinobi so we can cast the Yakushi out of the equation...
the third usually teams up those clan with good compatibility..Jiraiya and minato established that compatibility so it is only natural for Hiruzen to choose someone from Jiraiya's clan to be teamed up with minato...and the only white haired student minato has is kakashi, which denotes that Kakashi and jiraiya is somehow related.... So I will guess Jiraiya is from the Hatake clan....

We also do not know who Butsuma married... that passed the white hair to Itama and tobirama....
again i am going to base on the hair color.. the only known white haired clan in konoha is the hatake...
So i guess Butsuma married a girl from the ancestors of the Hatake clan...

Any ideas on how to know jiraiya's surname? The hair color is the only clue that i can think of that kishi gave us...

Yeah I was going to say: Tobirama, Half of Itama, Jiraiya, Sakumo, Kakashi, Dan and I'd even include Kabuto considering the fact that he apparantly fell within Land of Fire territory (Danzo recruiting him for missions as well as "Mother")!

Only person you didn't mention was Dan XD! Anyhow...I think it might just be whit hair....I mean Dan, Kabuto, Tobirama and Kakashi are all members of different families with White hair so it isn't a clan trait.

STILL, it is entirely possible, but more unlikely based on what I mentioned above...he was probably just Jiraiya

This could be possible but i do not believe Jiraiya (the legendary sannin) is from the hatake clan No offense.
