Roaming Millennial actually has some very good videos. I particularly like her one invalidating the concepts of cultural appropriation. When you look at this from a purely therapeutic standpoint, blaming others (especially people who have been dead for hundreds of years) inhibits personal growth. Some cultures have an internalized locus of control, others externalized, but either way we can grow as individuals or as a community; or both. It's true that some people can be blamed for specific acts (i.e., rape, molestation, murder, theft, etc.), but this generalization toward groups, blaming them for our stagnation, halts inner/community development. In this age, there is a victim-narrative trend that too many people are abusing. Perhaps it gives them power over someone temporarily; I'm sure there are many reasons, but playing the victim makes one a supporting character in their own movie.

It's insanely stupid to blame a "group" of people in general for the actions of individuals. Especially for things of the past.

Example:
You can't blame current german citizens for the crimes of Hitler and Nazi-Germany because "we" weren't born back then. Not even our parents. These crimes were not our individual actions, so they have no link to us.
But this is about the present too. Right now, the right-wing movements are rising all over Europe again. In Germany too. But can I be blamed for it? Of course not. If you think otherwise, how far back in history should we go? Where do we draw the line then? Should I be hateful at people whose ancestors commited crimes to my ancestors in the Middle Age or even Stone Age? This is ridiculous.

You, me, everyone on this entire planet can only be blamed for the actions that we commited ourselves. Don't think of groups, think on the individual level. All people are different. Not every "white" person supported Hitler or slavery in America. At the same time, not every Middle-Eastern person is a terrorist, not every "black" person is a criminal, yada yada yada. You get the concept. But I'm affraid that racism will not go away unless there are no "white"/"black"/"asian"/etc. people anymore.

Maybe when the entire population mixed into one single "group" this topic will vanish, but only to another one to rise. Because humans are indescribably stupid and hateful animals.

there shouldn't be one race
it should stay the way it is
I want my children and their children and their children and so on, to look like me honestly

to answer your question, it's because blacks commit way too many crimes statistic wise (they only make 13,3% of the population, still responsible for over 50% of homocides)
