"'White Fox', eh? You're a new face to me. I wish you the best of luck."

*Mifune begins by unsheathing a single katana, holding it quite simply with two hands, and in the chudan kendo stance. As he begins the simple movement of circling to his left, keeping his katana leveld at you, the wind blows and blows his hair and jacket backwards...

...and the instant the wind dies down, he rushes forward, quickly whipping his blade around so that the back of the katana rests on his left hip, he opens with a rather simple horizontal slash, cutting from left to right, aiming for the area just above your waist; however, he doesn't carry the slash all the way to his right, but rather stops the blade in the slash when it would be pointing right in front of him.*

As you begin to run, I do the same almost mirroring you. While I am running I unsheathe my Katana. I watch as you rest your blade on your left hip, this is telling me which way you are going to slash. When we meet and you slash horizontally I counter by using both hand's on the handle of my Katana, and swaying the blade downward. This causes our blades to clash in an instant. I then jump back raising my Katana into the air, with the blade facing your right shoulder. I then quickly take a step toward you slashing you twice in your chest. The two slashes coming in an X formation.

*As you counter my slash, and you jump backwards, for just a moment, I take the time to quickly resume the chudan stance by momentarily lowering my blade and placing it edge downwards; with you stepping forward, you'll also have to step to the side to avoid impaling yourself on my sword; that, or waste a strike deflecting my blade - either way, when you begin to slash at me, as your blade is not coated in chakra via your technique, I quickly outstretch the hand of the side you first choose to strike; suddenly you find that your blade has been caught by my bare hand, and with no injury on my part, either. Noticing as I've clenched your blade with a closed fist, you see that the edge of your blade doesn't sit against my hand; something's stopping it; with the Shuuren Kiwa taking care of the cutting edge, I have enough upper body strength to block the blow itself.

However, with your blade locked the instant I close my fist, I quickly use my own katana and slice upwards, aiming to cut your extended arm, having caught your blade while in the upper part of its movement, on the underside of your shoulder. When I make the cut, though, I release your blade after pulling back, to set you off balance as to make it difficult to dodge my cut.

Having stopped your blow midway, you'd never get the chance to try and strike me with the second slash; not that it matters, as your blade is encased in a scabbard of my chakra.*

Rank: E
Range: Short
Type: Supplementary
Chakra Cost: 5
Damage: 0
Description: This is a technique generally taught to aspiring swordsman and could be considered the opposite of using wind chakra to lengthen and sharpen a blade. Usually, a Swordmaster or other instructor would use their own chakra to create a small “U” shape around the edges or point of a weapon. The chakra acts as an invisible scabbard on the blade, allowing the students to spar without killing each other or wounding each other past minor bruises and aches caused by the blunt force of the “scabbard” blade making contact. The user activates this technique by extending their hand along a ridge and just letting a small amount of chakra out. This technique is very simple and quick.

As you basically said yourself, to perform my technique i would have had to counter your blade with the first strike from X-slash. That I did so. Future changer >_>. xd. And let me say keotsu, you are truly epic :p.

As you catch my sword, cuffing it in your technique, I pay attention to the real threat in the situation, which is your blade. As you pull my blade back while swinging your katana up toward my arm, I unsheathe the second Katana on my left hip with my left hand. I grab the handle with my hand still upward so the blade would be facing downward in my hand. I bring the blade up just in time to counter your katana's blade. I then catch my balance, while channeling chakra into the blade in my right hand. I use the Samurai Sabre technique on the blade in my right hand, cloaking it in chakra, and also breaking your barrier. I then slash toward your torso area with the Katana in my right hand, cloaked in samurai sabre. Followed by me stepping back and re-sheathing the katana in my left hand.

"Now do you recognize my style Samurai..? That may be true but i'm above that level, now you may recognize this..."

I then fire three crescent shaped chakra waves at you with Samurai Sabre, followed by dispelling the technique on my sword.

(Samurai Guntou no Jutsu) Samurai Sabre Technique
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 30
Damage points: 60
Description: This technique is unique to samurai, which employs the concept of chakra flow techniques similar to the flying sparrow and Kusanagi: Chidori katana. Through the use of chakra flow the user channels their chakra through their swords his extends the reach and the cutting ability of the blade, and also allows the user to fire crescents of chakra whenever the blade is swung. This released chakra is capable of great destruction as shown from how it destroyed a stone pillar. The samurai have also shown the ability to use shape transformation, as they can form their chakra blades into giant buzz saws, broad swords, spiked shafts, and axes. This ability allows them to rely on smaller swords while retaining greater reach, damage, and surprise attacks as needed.(The technique is capable of countering Ninjutsu of A rank and below due to the chakra charge technique).

Thank you. ^_^ I've had a lot of practice recently, so my blade has been cleaned of rust. Now, I keep fighting to hone my edge. ^_^ You're exceptional, yourself.
_____________

*As you block my blade and then begin to focus your charka into the blade I had previously cupped, using the SSS to burst my barrier, it seems that I was correct in assuming you would do so, and releasing your blade when I had, preventing myself from being cut.

As you slash at me, though, with your SSS infused weapon, I quickly counter with my own katana, having focused chakra into it as well, shortly after you did, slashing, as I quickly take a few steps backwards myself.

However, when I see you quickly slash three times, aiming those three shockwaves at me, I slash quickly, sending a shockwave of my own from the SSS, at a slight axis, blocking all three shockwaves, due to it being as powerful collectively as those, despite beings slower. Immediately after firing the shockwave, though, in order to keep myself prepared, I send renewed chakra to the blade, keeping the SSS active. *

"Hm? Kougenjin? That's Keotsu's technique... When did he teach you Mirage Blade?"

*Taking my SSS infused blade, I assume the Gedan kendo stance, with my blade pointing towards the ground, as I begin to slowly circle you.*

"I believe it's your turn for the offensive."

"Ah yes, it is my turn"

"Take's in a few deep breathe's, letting them out calmly, focusing on you, my opponent.

-One last heavy breather-

"Alright well, let's see what I can do here..."

I unsheathe the second Katana on my left hip again, but this time holding it upright, the correct way, and letting the back of the steel rest on my shoulder. The katana in my right hand's blade is facing the ground. Without warning I burst out running at very high speed's toward you, blade's still the same way. I then launch the katana in my right hand straight toward you, moving in a straight line toward your stomach area very quickly. Once I get close enough Imildly fake a slash causing you to falsely counter as I summer sault over your head doing a 360 spin in mid-air so when I land i'm facing your back as your concentration is knocked off. Thrusting my palm into your back while I hop back quickly afterward's.

Note: Yes before I hopped over you you would have been impaled by my blade.

Note: Yes before I hopped over you you would have been impaled by my blade.

*As you rush towards me, I simply take a step backwards, increasing the distance between us (even if momentarily), which helps give me more precious time to react; as you throw your katana at me, I'm watching the blade's length, looking for a wire of some sort attached to it in case of some sort of sneak attack, looking for the tell-tale glint the metal wire would give in the light; as the katana approaches me, though, I quickly swing my sword upwards and two my left, deflecting the blade and sending it flying, and assuming the Jodan stance all in one smooth, arcing motion; to adjust, as well, I took a half-step to my right as I deflected the blade, ensuring my safety.

As you are still rushing towards me, though, I'm still in Jodan stance, which means the blade is held above my head. When you go into your feint, my reaction would be to do a powerful and quick overhead strike in the direction your only remaining blade is going (and thus, my sword would be angled towards that sword anyway, as you said you held it in the same position, severally limiting the possible angles of attack).

With you immediately leaping over me, though, I react; instead of trying to fight my momentum from my counter to your feint, I use it to my advantage, due to the sheer force of overhead strikes; I quickly drop to my knees and sling my sword, quickly spinning in a rotation, my blade sweeping across the ground, but before you land; this means, though, that I'm actually facing where you'll land before you've actually landed (rotational inertia; increased speed of rotation, yadayada) - this this, I quickly swing my blade upwards, coming upwards by pushing with my legs as well, with an explosively powerful rising slash, aimed to split you in two; and, to make matters worse for you, I use the SSS active on my sword to form an axe-blade, intent on truly splitting you, as you descend onto my forceful strike.*
