Was kakashi's father really that strong like minato, jiraya etc. What do you guys think?

I mean he was well known among the enemies of konoha....people of NV often called kakashi the son of white fang...was he really that strong?....just look at kakashi in the latest chapters he doesn't look very strong to me without his sharingan eyes...so how come kakashi's father was powerful enough that he was well known among his enemies even after his death?....

What are your comments about Kakashi's father??? *_*

probably because back then being a shinobi wasn't based on ridiculously op powerups and haxxed abilities; the merit of a shinobi was based on skill.

This is why shinobi like Minato and Itachi, imo, are a few of the greats, which could also be the reason why Sakumo is regarded as such.
