[Discussion] Whis Vegeta promise

Whis said that he would train Vegeta, but only if he would become a God of destruction.

This happens in episode 16.

So seems Whis possibly wants to train a replacement in case Beerus cant fulfill the role anymore.

We havent heard much about this later on so far.
There is another episode where Beerus says to Goku and Vegeta something on the lines of ''you arent here to try to replace me as God of destruction?''.

So what do you think?
Vegeta the future God of destruction?

Maybe Goku fulfilling some Kaio type role?

Neither going for such role?

Something else?
