Which was the chapter after which you decided you are going to follow the series?

Hated the first episode of Naruto since I was a huge Dbz Fan. Kept telling myself that it was bad and I was generally uninterested. That was until after I actually got past the first episode and kept mindlessly watching until it ticked in my brain when I saw Sasuke and Naruto etc, the Chunin Exam is where it really had me hooked and I couldn't stop watching. Was so amazing to watch back then. The same thing happened with Bleach as well lol.
It was like this
Dbz, didn't like Naruto
Naruto, didn't like Bleach
Bleach, don't like Fairy Tail
Fairy Tail, don't like One Piece.
It just keeps on doing that everytime with me. Now I like Fairy Tail, Bleach, Dbz and Naruto. Still can't get into One Piece though, maybe some day

in my country they did a really big deal when naruto came on TV so i started to watch from episode 1 part 1 but since i was little and my country never showed shippuden i was sure that serias has been finished after episode 135 (they didnt put the fillers) and after 5 years me and my friend thought the serias was ended ( we knew about shippuden) cause we bought storm 2 and we were sure after pain arc he became hokage and that was the end so i did a little search in google and found this place watched all shippuden episode and started to read the manga. P.S i started to read the manga when the fillers after the kage summit started... well i started to read the manga when the fight between naruto and bee VS edo itachi and nagato was published (i had no idea what i read LOL)

Well I didn't expect the Lee vs. Gaara fight to be mentioned, although it was a spectacular one.

I am a little surprised. Also almost no one mentioned the protagonist.

I randomly saw Sasuke v Haku on TV. then found out it was inspirede by DBZ, n started from episode 1.

I remember the episode was the one where Sasuke protects Naruto from Haku and he goes berserk..thought it was cool and started watching from the start on the pc

I honestly can't remember when I transferred from watching the anime to reading the manga. All I remember is that for some reason I looked on naruto.wikia for information and then I learned that Itachi died. The bad part was that I skipped 100 chapters I think because when I started reading the manga, pein had invaded konoha.

To be hones the Chuunin Exams. Can't remember which one though... I just switched to Cartoon Network and there was a battle show on decided to watch it. It was around the Sakura vs Ino fight.
