Read the thread title, its not who has the most potential (sasuke obviously wins that one). But the title is who had the most meaning who wont be able to achieve that power again (either because they're dead or handicapped, etc).

With that being said I still think obito takes the spot. But that does remind me that nagato with his legs would've had amazing potential too

So tell me, madara relied on senju dna? can itachi awake the rinnegan without the dna? get a better proof................................Anyway, Sasuke has always been said that his eyes carries greater potential than Itachi's own and even Itachi said that Sasuke is the only 1 that can surpass him.

Well the reason Itachi had sickness and died is becouse if he was still alive he would prolly have ended Madara and Obito lol .. but srsly Itachi is clearly the best Uchiha without the DNA mix ..

It's obvious that Itachi had the most potential. He didn't rely on stealing Senju DNA. The strongest Uchiha can succeed without DNA modifications.

Madara would fodderise Itachi without the need of Senju DNA.

I know they are tools, you said Itachi didnt rely on senju dna as if any other uchiha relied on it. Madara only needed it to awaken the rinnegan of which if Itachi was to awake it, he'll also need it.
Itachi > Sasuke, but in terms of their eye potential, Sasuke is better. Fugaku, Orochimaru and Itachi himself all said so.

Honestly I say Sasuke. Itachi is my favorite and he's definitely the smartest uchiha, but his potential could only go so far with his illness and lower chakra levels. Sasuke is a genius, not quite on the same level as itachi was, but a genius nonetheless, and his potential is much more vast than itachi's was considering he had no deathly illness, and has been said to have strong chakra(even for an uchiha), plus he possesses the EMS which further aids his potential more than a regular MS would.

Itachi, anyone who disagrees is a fool

Reasons:

1) - He had no ****ing teachers and yet he became an Anbu captain as a child
2) - Never had a motivation to sharpen his skills (i.e.- he had no extra training, whatsoever)
3) - Never had a serious battle with anyone through the entire series
4) - He was 17 years old in part 1 imagine him at Hashirama's age.
5) - He didn't even have EMS and he could easily get one from Madara's reserves.

So yeah, there was plenty of potential with the Solo King

Only the thing is, Sasuke's main form of attack (elemental raiton) was taught to him by Kakashi, He also benefited from having Orochi's summon, curse seal and even his power in later chapters. Itachi also gave him his jutsus and eyes.
