it's not about the characters discussed, it's the attitude. for example:

> X is not the best *insert area of expertise*, that random person is
it's even worse when one or more of the characters discussed happen to be your favourite and people are either worshiping them as if their lives depend on it or bashing them as if their lives depend on it.

and also threads where every second post is not contributing to the further development of the discussion.
(Comments like "I dont give a f***", "put the b**** back to her place", "you are stupid", "I havn't read lol" etc...)
this post is the most annoying. every other post ive read has had at least something interesting in it, while ths one has nothing and is completely pointless. This thread actually could make some form of naruto discussion, unlike the threads mentioned in the OP.
On the subject of this thread, Itachi threads.
this thread is pointless, it has nothing to do with naruto, so if you think it will lead to naruto discussion then you are stupid. Every thread he mentioned has the ability to lead to naruto discussion. In fact they are all about naruto.

The most annoying threads are the ones I go to troll on with Tobi and his magic bag of poo. Than people get serious and tell me to leave or shut up. Actually hasn't happened much, but I'm waiting for it. I have my popcorn ready. And Tobi with his poo.

and on topic, i like all narutobase threads as long as they have reason behind them and are not stupid. With that said, ive seen hundreds of interesting threads in every category you've listed. Just because some people post stupid threads in any one of those categories doesnt mean you can say the whole category and any conversation concerning them is annoying or stupid.

Almost any thread that is about how the Manga will end and who is more powerful then who. Kishi will let us know lol just wait.
