Which Tekken game is your fave?

For me personally, it is Tekken 4. This game was the first Tekken game I actually enjoyed and still do. I think it had the best roster at that time, unbeatable soundtracks, epic stages and even the layout of it was cool. This game also had a perfect way of illustrating the story. It was the only Tekken game which helped me to understand the characters for the first time. As mentioned by another fan, Tekken 4 "..was an evolutionary step to the series."

Loved 3 back in the day but Tag 2 the best now. Biggest roster and im to used to the tag combos. cant even play 6 anymore.

Tekken 3 was the first ever Tekken game I played and that was on PS1. It was pretty good but then I played Tekken 4 and it became my fave ever since. I learnt so much about the characters and that was when I officially got hooked on Tekken. :yay:

Also Tekken Tag 2 is my most played on PS3 along with Tekken Revolution.

I dont really remember which one but it had this black haired guy with wings and half of his face was devil like on the cover.
And I loved playing with that guy called Yoshimitsu I think. He looked like a skeleton with a hat and he could sit on his sword.

jin was too broken in tekken 4 because of his just frame laser scraper which was basically an unblockable hit

Cant really remember 4 i never really got to play it. 5 is what got me hooked. me and my mates would try and see who could get the most tekken lords lol

Tag 2 was definitely the best. Jin, Kazuya, Slim Bob, Lars wrecked

Actions also seemed more fluid and less bulky feeling

I think you might be referring to Devil Jin?

Yoshimitsu was awesome. Many fans think he had the best design in Tekken 4. I also remember something interesting about him in Tekken 3, the fact that he could change the color of the laser on his sword. I just used to find that pretty cool for some reason. *_*

Tekken 5 was like the slightly enhanced version of Tekken 4 except with a larger roster and different layouts. Still cool though.

No way, Jin was epic in Tekken 4 and it was actually at that point where he became my main. I used to love his white/black karate gi costume the most. The same style and theme is based on Jun Kazama's main costume in Tekken Tag 2.

Though, I played only till 5... My fav. will always be Kazama Jin, but I also liked playing with Hwoarang...

Hehe, I can remember playing Tekken 5 with my cousins. I used to use this one move with Raven and used to win every time. xd

Hwoarang was really good with his feet. Makes me wonder if he'd make a good soccer player. Lol I did not know Jin and Hwoarang were rivals until I played Tekken 4. Also it seems like their rivalry died down as the series continued. :hmm:

The latest Tekken game at the moment is Tekken Revolution, which is a free to play game and requires online to be played. Tekken 7 is the next one in line and should be released soon. :hmm:

Tekken 7 for the Ps3 or 4? I could care less since I have both but I hope they release it for both.
