Which summons are still relevant at the top level today?

We saw Deva Path single handedly fodderize Gamabunta and his two friends. Sasuke F'ed up Danzo's anteater pretty easily with a regular katon jutsu. Are any of the summons still relevant against the top tier fighters that they'd make a sufficient difference if summoned?

Animal Path's summons are the only one I can think of, due to the high volume of creatures summoned and their invincibility.

pein, was an exception fighters like kisame, mei, some other top fighters cannot jus blow summons away, gamugunta fought a tailed beat and matched pretty well against it, so yeah they are still important i think and sasuke jus thought of a way to counter it

Yes, but not for combat. Katsuyu and the 2 toad elders are still useful.

Ooh, Gedo Mazo, thats true. Not sure about the toads, they were pretty weak vs pain. Enma and Manda are interesting. Wood Dragon is not a kuchiyose no jutsu, same with kyuubi,
