The Official Bleach Quiz: Which Division Are You?
Credit: Kubo Tite, Bleach Official Bootleg English version.

This quiz is rather long and complicated because it's adapted from the official version of Gotei 13 Aptitude Test in the Bleach Official Bootleg booklet ^_^ (please bear with the length!) I changed nothing, just adapting the original flow diagram version into this version.

Yamamoto-soutaichou is a captain's captain. If you serve under him, you will learn how to lead from the very best.
The leader is great, so it follows that the vice captain is too. They are like mirror images of one another.

SECOND DIVISION
If you want to be a strong female Shinigami, the person to emulate is the female captain who supervises the Secret Mobile Corps. She is, on the other hand, a supreme taskmaster.
When fighting, female Shinigami are no different from their male counterparts. Strengthen your resolve and join.

If you don't want to give up your playful side, this is the company for you. You'll learn how to stay this way from a captain who works hard and plays hard.
You never can tell what the captain is thinking, but rest assured he is well liked by his subordinates.

FOURTH DIVISION
Many female Shinigami idolise the captain of 4th Division. If you join this division, you will not only hone your Shinigami skills but also become more feminine.

FIFTH DIVISION
If you aspire to be a Shinigami who is both wise and skilled in the martial arts, then the best thing would be to train under a captain who is both. All things require discipline.
Sitting up straight when writing is part of the training. Whether it's the way of the sword or the way of the brush, all things require patience.

SIXTH DIVISION
Upholding the law is like breathing. If that is your way of thinking, then this division is for you. You will feel a strong sense of purpose here.
Everything is subject to law and order. You will become someone who is almost too hard on yourself and others.

SEVENTH DIVISION
If you value friendship and believe in honouring your obligations, no one would be better mentor to you than the fiercely loyal captain of the 7th Division.
If your goal is to be a man among men, and a Shinigami among Shinigami, then you would do well to learn from this captain.

This division is for those who want to live a life of sophistication, of sake and love. You must, however, always remember to put training before panache.

At first glance, the captain seems very serious and formal, but many in this company enjoy books and reading. They also believe in exercising their minds.

TENTH DIVISION
The captain of this division approves highly of signing up friends and acquaintances from one's childhood. This division is for the kind and thoughtful Shinigami.

With each passing year, applicants are increasingly spirited types who would prefer a fight rather than a meal. If you believe that might is right, then come on over.

If you would dedicate your life to research, then by all means come to 12th Division. However, rumour has it that you must be prepared for the consequences...
It appears that in recent years the captain has been short of research subjects. Be careful, in more ways than one.

THIRTEENTH DIVISION
This division is popular among applicants who want a quiet, peaceful life. The captain has a sickly constitution, so please stand in him and fulfill the division's duties.
You won't get to see him very much as he's often sick. However he's a man of wide experience and the right person to seek advice from about life.
