I personally want to see the akatsuki win this war. It would give the story the twist that it needs, have killa bee get captured and gai die. Forcing naruto and Kakashi to retreat leaving madara and obito to search for them and start wiping out the alliance forcing them to scatter. This could lead to a even more diverse plot and to be honest it would be very surprising to see. One or two Kages die, the rest scatter taking a group of survivors with them... (This is just my opinion, none of it is fact)
