which one is stronger..a rinnegan or a EMS?i personally I think rinnegan is stronger but if it is so why nagato became madara subordinate?

I agree. I think Rinnegan and EMS is the sharigans limit (presumably) , so I think there may be something more to the Rinnegan that we don't know... Plus I thought the Rinnegan could do what the sharigan did and have all the elements etc etc etc..... xd

exactly!I wanna say the same thing,the rinnegan could do what sharingan or any other occular jutsu such as byak.. do..but why madara is assumed to be stronger than nagato?

I read and heard that too,,but that cant be right..byakugan is so waek against rinnegan based on what we saw from their users

but you know,,it dos nothing speicial,,u can just see better with a byakugan..see chakra system and far distances and etc,,nothing speicial like amaterasu for example
Nagato is a good fighter, but I'm not sure how skilled he is in using the rinnegan. That ocular power was supposed to be something incredibly strong and yet he was controlled by Madara and defeated by Naruto. I think we will get to see how strong rinnegan is when madara uses it and then we can compare.

sorry but i have to disagree with u..nagato was very skilled.. he had rinnegan from childhood and train with it and knows so much about it and why he was controlling by madara is the paradox and my question,,and i dont believe he got beat by naruto,,not to mention that he had used alot of chakra in order to destroy konoha and the power of the tendo pain wasnt ready at the beggining of the fight where naruto can take out the other pains and he didint want to kill naruto yet he wanted to capture him alive,,otherwise before he transform in kiyobi cloak he would be dead!(i dont think he could beat him at all if tendo had his shinra tensei and vansho tame jutsos at the begining f the fight)naruto at the end persuade nagato that he can seize peace and ect ,,otherwise the fight would go on eventually

of course rinnegan. ems is heavly priced draining oneself out of chakra (even seals the eye) while comparatively rinne tech are more massive devastating yet very much chakra efficient. Also nagato's rin was as primitive as natural sharingan.

so you are trying to say nagato hadnt developed his rinnegan in these many years and it was just like a natural sharingan comparead to a EMS and thats why he accept to be madara's subordinate?

"not to mention that he had used alot of chakra in order to destroy konoha" - a really skilled fighter would know to not mess about. He decided to use his chakra. He wasn't forced to do it. That was HIS mistake and HIS bad judgment.

It was mostly Pain's fault for using his chakra so much. And it was his fault for toying with Hinata when he had naruto captured. That is not skill, that is stupidity.

There was nothing anyone could have done. Nagato just decided to not let his death be in vain. Naruto convinced him to turn to the good side. He did not convince him to lose the fight.

with all due respect i cant agree with u,naruto even had the help of the 2frog sages and if yondayme didnt stop him from transfering he could have transformed into kyubi completely,u see if nagato were stupid or not a good fighter madara never chose him to be the leader but im not denying what happended I just say nagato is more stronger than naruto and madara ,,and why is it that he became madara's subordinate,,it really doesnt have anything to do that what happend in that fight with naruto in those circumstances,it make no sense to me,ok?

I'm not quite sure which one is stronger, what i've seen of nagato was probably weaker than susano'o and amaterasu and ems is supposed to have another strong technique.
but yet we dont really know how the rinnegan works at all, weather nagato got all the jutsus each paths have and if there are more than just the seven paths that nagato could use and how strong the seventh really is. considering what konan said, nagato himself could control life and death, which would make him far more formidable than even deva path.
