Dude yagami is a genius similar to shikamaru, but not a genius in combat like sasuke/kakashi...etc.
Anyway ill say that itachi and shikamaru do rival yagami, but what yagami did seemed ridiculous. Almost as if he can see the future

Well, quite a few can - Kakashi, Itachi, Shikamaru, perhaps Orochimaru
But I think the person who's the most similar to Light is Sasuke. They're both calm, collected, shrewd, they don't care about girls or women. They're both kinda corrupt, they'll both discard you if they don't need you. They've both been called geniuses. Sasuke was top of his class, Light was top of his class. Sasuke just oozes cool, so does Light. They're both considered handsome. They're similar in age, they can both outsmart you... anyway you can see where I'm going with this, I could continue...

yeah u should watch death note but u have to watch every episode carefully if u dont want to get confused by light or L wordsill give death note a try.

hmhm now that u mention it both of them is quite similar especially when they laugh
remember sasuke evil laugh when fighting kakashi and also when light evil laugh when he know that his plan goes smoothly :Fyeah. I miss watching Death Note, it's one of the greastet anime everhmhm now that u mention it both of them is quite similar especially when they laugh
