National security but that only goes so far. No Big Brother stuff, please.
the problem with "national security" is that the government will eventually target people for disagreeing. When the US was founded one of the rights that the American people were given was the right to get rid of the government if we decide that it no longer works for us. Many people try to push this off as anarchy, if I were to support the idea of getting rid of our government I'd be considered a terrorist. And thus would find myself in prison, no trial, no due process and no rights what-so-ever.
LOL man you right people usually take those stuff in secret places with no technology around them; all that Illuminati conspiracies.CCTV is hardly the same as things in your own home, I don't know about you but I don't do anything in the street that I wouldn't want other people to see. I usually don't have my phone pointing straight at me and what are they gonna see anyway? My face? No problem there. As for microphones, what does it matter if people hear me speaking? They'll never find out about my plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament that way.
That's not true at all. Maybe if you threaten with force, criminal intent and murder...
And yet people believe all that bullsh t that the media is saying.Really? Tell that to the people that were attacked at Ruby Ridge by the federal government. You know what his crime was? Buying a shotgun from an under cover agent that was 1/2 an inch to short. They shot a woman in the face while she held her child all for that.
I'm sorry but I was in the military and know that the government is only there to protect themselves. Anything that they perceive as a threat will be dealt with. Heck they lie to the media ALL the time just to make Americans feel like they are "safe"

I don't even understand your example. Links please.
I don't care what you were in, it's a fact that people are stupid and absolutely unable to handle sensitive information given out.
Did you know we missed a chance at catching Bin Laden because the government told its people that we had a phone number to track? Bin Laden saw this news and changed his entire network. The general public is made up of fools and imbeciles, and no matter how cynical you believe they are, the fact remains that no one is doing it better.
I don't see you changing anything with your infinite military wisdom.
Exactly as it says in the title, which is more important to you and why?
National security. I really don't care what the government knows about me as long as they can stop terrorist attacks.
National Security. I dont mind the government watching me masturbate passionately.
