lol 2 voters guess i know who you voted for kenshin

my vote goes for the J man. (have to admit im a little biased towards him) but i think in my heart of hearts jiraiya just about beats oro.

we can argue all day about whose tech would do what to whom and what the other would do to counter it

so i have just based my opinion on there two best fights...by best i mean the 2 fights in which they show there strengths off the most.

as it happens they both happened to lose there respective fights xd

oro vs the third , and J vs pain.

i feel that jiraiyas biggest strength is in sage mode (duh!)
and that oros biggest strength is his versatility in terms of techs/jutsus

and looking at the two iv not seen anything that oro could do (save respawning others to fight for him - and thats kind of uber hax preparedness that makes the fight unfair) that could beat sage Jiraiya

i mean that uber rasengan that jiraiya did against pain was awesome

(Q for every1: would the two respwaned kages that fought the 3rd be affected by the summoned frogs genjutsu in Js battle with pain)

so jiraiya sage beats the versatility of oro.

Orochimaru actually beat the 3rd Hokage..

I think Orochimaru is stronger (probably not stronger) but would prevail against Jiraiya..

He has so many revival techs and forbidden jutsu and he is pretty much immortal plus he would care less if he killed Jiraiya..​

Answering the question, I do believe it would work. Since the Edo Tensei tech brings their soul back to another body basically, there is a chakra system and 5 senses to be affected which is what genjutsu does.

My question is how would Ma and Pa's genjutsu work on Oro's giant hydra transformation that he used against Itachi? If that thing could get caught in a genjutsu then Jiraiya takes this fight. If not, then I think Orochimaru wins.

Kishimoto really made Orochimaru being humiliated everytime against Itachi Uchiha..Never lasted much more then 5 seconds against him.​

Jiraiya. Orochumaru obviously didn't battle Jiraiya's Sage Mode in their previous encounter and the Frog Song would deal with him easily.

Jiraya if he uses sage mode he can surprise Oro who thinks that Jiraya doesnt use genjutsu and then toads come in with there sound genjutsu and give jiraya the opportunity to win with a Odama Rasengan or any other super move he as.
