Nothing will top Sage Mode Naruto'd badass-ery when he was taking Pain's left to right, but of course Pain could have taken him down easy. It was still impressive to see his growth from RS to SM Arc.

Though Six Paths Naruto was pretty baddass, I'll say after watching the Boruto Movie, it shows his stuff.

obviously naruto fighting kaguya and then sasuke is naruto at his strongest feat wise. one would assume he was strongest in boruto since he was in his prime roughly around 30-32, BUT naruto was so badass against pain. I don't think naruto ever looked more badass. although I wasn't a fan of the talk no jutsu against nagato at the end, although letting nagato live was what the plot needed I cant lie and say I wasn't a little disappointed that naruto didn't kill konan and nagato right there

If talking about badassness and Naruto the only one I can think of is Part 1 Naruto.
That guy being a genin cut open his hand swearing to never be afraid of anyone again and proving it nonetheless.
If it weren't for his unpredictableness not even so called Lord Sasuke could break Kakashi free.
He shouted his lungs out that he'll become Hokage wherever and whenever got excited and didn't give a damn.
Aced written test like a boss.
Fought Orochimaru, a hopeless opponent without a speck of fear in eyes and threw Sasuke's words right vack at him.
Beat Neji the famed top rookie.
Beat Gaara and summoned Boss a summon being only a genin.
Figured out how to use an S-class jutsu all on his own.
And the best of all wasn't obsessed over Sasuke and was only focuse on becoming Hokage.

Seriously, if the story were a bit different and retained Naruto's wild and selfish traits just like Oda had done with Luffy the manga would have been so much better.
