Which mode do you think is stronger, sage mode or tailed beast mode? And why?

It seems to me that the manga has hyped up both modes.

Hashirama, Jirayai (partially), Kabuto, and Naruto have sage mode and everyone seems to talk about it like it is the ultimate and hard to master.

On the other hand, we see how powerful Naruto, Bee, and Obito (granted he has the ten tails) are in tailed beast mode.

I struggle to decide myself. Why?
1. Naruto was in sage mode when he was initially defeated by Pain (before Hinata joined the fight and Naruto was kicked into tailed beast mode), Kabuto was in sage mode when defeated by Itachi (and please everyone, I'm not saying Itachi isn't strong...I'm just saying he defeated another character in sage mode), and Jiraiyia was defeated while in his partial sage mode.
2. On the other hand, all of the jinjuricki were defeated while in various stages of tailed beast mode, including Naruto and Bee.
3. The ten tails was nearly defeated before being absorbed by Obito.
4. We have yet to see other strong characters obtain sage mode (not even the other kage even), but several strong characters have been able to control/stop the tailed beasts.

So I don't know. What do you guys think?

SM is dependent on the user. Base Mode Hashirama for example, is stronger than BM Naruto, therefore his SM will amplify him to a much higher level. But as an upgrade to any person, BM is probably better.

BM is fixed. As it is kuramas chakra. however sage mode is dependant on the user if rikudou uses sage mode he can own all of narutoverse.

He is using KCM(kyuubi chakra mode) now, not BM(bijuu mode).

bijuu mode--sagemode but they both need chakra from nature as seen when kurama was sitting like a sage collecting chakra in the manga,so they are almost the same to some extent,but the nature chakra kyubi takes in changes from nature chakra to bijuu chakra thereby upgraded,so I think bm takes this.
