Does anyone think that a Shinobi not listed in my thread should be included in the runnings?

-gHost Senju, K.U.S.H. Sage

Maybe Nagato could be included because he had the Rinnegan and had also by virtue of the Rinnegan had mastered all 5 elemental releases according to Jiraiya. I don't think the Rikudou Sennin would win this though as he was there at the beginning inventing/discovering jutsu, which is much harder than learning them. Take for example Minato taking 3 years to develop the Rasengan but Naruto learned it in a month. However, who know's regarding him, so little information.

Hiruzen, we know a little about. We know he was called the professor for knowing how to perform all of Konoha's jutsu (not necessarily perform them though, as he doesn't have all the elemental releases, etc.)

Kakashi is also renowned for the number of jutsu he knows and copied via his Sharingan. He's at 1,000+ pre-time-skip I think, so I go with him. As well, we know he has 3 elemental releases: lightning (primary), earth, and water - fire is only in the anime, so irrelevant here.

Orochimaru is out for me because he spent so much time discovering jutsu, which as I said above, takes more time than simply learning them. This applies to his reincarnation jutsu, perfecting IWR, etc. Don't get me wrong, Orochimaru knew a ton of jutsu, but I don't think he was as well versed as Hiruzen and Kakashi.

Of course an important determinant has to do with not just having jutsu knowledge, but also active jutsu usage and proficiency. I think Kakashi and then Hiruzen in that order again.

Go Sharingan Warrior/Copy Ninja Kakashi! :izuna:

Peace

Hiruzen. He was known as "The Professor" and "The God of Shinobi" for a reason.
