If sasuke used amaterasu, and Neji used rotation, one of two things would happen once he stops the technique:
1)It will fall harmlessly to the ground away from Neji since it has no conscious of its own and cannot move unless sasuke wills it to.
2) It would dissipate because there is no more fuel for it to burn.

The first option is more likely since amaterasu is known turn burn even after the target has been reduces to ashes, but the possibility still remains. Either way, Neji would come out completely unscathed

Like I said he was an add on the original team was shikamaru, imo, and choji..... tsunade added kakasho just in case, shikamaru could have gotten anyone to do it, ether choji or ino could have done it.

I'm a little dissappointed how people dismiss the Konoha 11, Weren't these the guys that proved their worth in the mission to retrieve sasuke? By all accounts they all should have died but shocked their opponents. That being said sure Ino and Tenten would likey lose but Neji is combat smart enough and Lee determination with the gates unlocked is a force not to be ignored. Shikamaru is smart enough to beat sasuke (he beat Hidan didn't he?).

Sasuke's most dangerous abilities are genjutsu and susanoo he does not have the luxury of being an unknown enemy do there will be little in the easy of surprise, also you all are givig too little credit to ninja like shino, neji, rock lee all of whom are familiar with uchiha techniques shikimaru has already proven that he can defeat enemies far stronger thsn himself and while shino hadn't had much airtime when he it's shown he looks to be on a level similar to gaara so i think that means he can hold his own rock lee is by far th e best in taijutsu
