Which Konoha 11 shinobi can stand toe to toe with EMS Sasuke?

I think the point of the story is that none of them should or would be able to stand up to Sasuke and therefor this question could have been done without. I would never make a secondary character stronger then a main character who is THE main characters biggest rival. :sy:

Yea I'd go with this. Don't think Shikamaru would be able to trap Sasuke because he's too powerful. The thing I see Shikamaru dealing with is Sasuke's genjutsu, somehow. Still that's as far as he would go because he just has nothing he can do to actually damage Sasuke afaik - only if he teamed up.
Rock Lee would manage well because we saw Tsunade could break Susanoo which means Rock Lee in 8 gate could definitely do it. Maybe even 7, but I'm sceptical. For amaterasu, Rock Lee is able to avoid by outspeeding I believe unlike the rest. For genjutsu, I dunno, his chance of defeating Sasuke lies in his gates abilities somehow neglecting the genjutsu effect unless he gets some brilliant idea.

BS. Neji is my favorite character but even I can accept it's nearly impossible to imagine him breaking through Susanoo in a match against Sasuke one on one. Lee is a question mark because we haven't seen Gai go against Itachi's or Madara's Susanoo but he's screwed if he gets caught in tsukyomi.... and Shikamaru.... >.> I don't even know where you get the idea Shikamaru has the raw power to pull off the win. It's great to be good at strategies but that doesn't mean he can win against any opposition.

Thinking sasuke could solo the konoha 11 is just insane. If they worked together they have skills that could truly be reckon with. Neji has the best chance of going toe to toe with him because of his chakra and taijutsu skills.

You talk about Neji and his defense. I honestly doubt any defensive technique Neji has can withstand a Sasanoo enhanced arrow. Nuff said.
Sasuke would have the most problems with Shikamaru.
In an attempt to outsmart Shikamaru. Sasuke has no chance.

I don't think he even has it anymore.
His Susano'o is completely (well, not entirely) different. Projectile amaratsu frizbies and whatnot.

You know, I just had a thought:

Shadow posession jutsu freexes people at the mercy of the caster, right?
Well, Sasuke has a summon of some type of bird. Even if it's up in the air, it can still cast a shadow on the ground.

Even though this will never happen, what if Shikimaru caught Sasuke and his summon in the air, froze them, and then let Sasuke fall to his death.

Shikamaru would stay alive the longest but Sasuke wouldn't sweat a bit and Rock Lee w/ 8 Gates will make Sasuke sweat a little bit.

For Neji, I doubt it.. I think Shino and Sai stands a better chance than Neji does. Sasuke can just spam Amaterasu arrows at Neji constantly till he stops the rotation, I doubt Neji could rotate as long as Sasuke could keep shooting his arrows (chakra-wise).

Cute idea but Sasuke doesn't normally fight like Deidara. He'd sooner amaterasu Shikamaru then try that.

I say neji in the top 3 because his byakugan eyes should enable him to spot weak points in the susanoo and use chakra release plus taijutsu to disrupt it, and as far as I know nothing his beaten his defense.

He is also the only one with better sight eyes than sasuke out of the 11.

Before neji is shikamura and before shikamaru is eighth gate lee, I don't even doubt that the eighth gate would end EMS sasuke after what I saw the seventh do.

None of them to be fair since Naruto is not part of the 11. The reason why Sasuke's Susanoo can easily kill them with it's arrow. Even Neji's kaiten wouldn't able to block it.Kakashi escape only because of Kamui. Shikamaru don't really know since he is up against Sasuke it will take time for his shadow to get in contact with Sasuke's shadow.
