By the end of the manga i was hoping for both of them to be Anbu, since they have amazing tracking skills. And to be like famous among other villages, but at the end, shino the almost autist under social is a teacher? and Kiba dedicates to women despite considering Naruto his rival? Please...

Shino never got the upgrade he deserved, he was on par with Kankuro, and then he was left behind, while Kiba got his 3 headed dog (badass) and it was only used against Juubi fodder clones, smh.

I'm going to add Ten Ten there too. In Hinata's case, she's the main character's mate to be. So she always had more screen time then those two.

Neji and Lee simpily because these 2 had the biggest potential of K11 but got neglected entirely which not only they were epicly strong but also their relavency in terms of the plot yet it had misses opportunities. To be honest, nobody isn't really expecting anything from Shino, or Kiba.

In Shikamaru's defense, that is his clan's main purpose, to map out plans, and formulate strategies.

There is no excuse for Shino though

Shikamaru. Kishi got lazy and abandoned those extremely technical battles in favor super ninjas.
