Anime-influenced animation. It has anime style and many elements of anime. Just because it was created by America doesn't mean it can't be put into the same category as anime from Japan. ;/
Exactly. I couldn't have said it better myself:D
code geass is also reasonable the only supernatural thing in that show is the geass powers
Yeah I guess. And Knightmares are very capable of being real in the future, but I doubt they'll be able to fly, that's even to advanced for the future
A reasonable anime, huh. Inuyasha might be reasonable. They have to train to become stronger, and it doesn't seem like anyone is very OP over another. I mean, look at Inuyasha after he learned a new technique. He still didn't win a battle easily. :)

A realistic anime could be uh. Not sure. A lot are just unrealistic, but maybe Death Note or Code Geass? xd
Yes, powers in Inuyasha are reasonable indeed. Even at the end of the anime, Inuyasha still wasn't that OP. And yup, Death Note and Code Geass are great answers aswell. But Lelouch's, L's and Light's intellect is unrealistic, no one's rreally that smartxd

The original dragonball was pretty reasonable
Yeah it was when I think about it. But, then the creator imagination went wild when he created DBZ

highschool of the dead all the way.( i so wish that would happen to me.... all those girls););)
Man, I tried to watch that but the Hentei made me uncomfortableU_U
Id have to go with ruruoni kenshin on that one i mean yeah kenshin starts the series as a bada$$ but through out you learn what he had to do to become said bada$$ and then there are yahiko and sanosuke both train and become stronger throughout the show although sano was kind of a bada$$ at the start when he went by Zanza the fighter for hire and used his zanbato (Horse cutter) another cool realistic thing about this series is that they use real weapons like the sakabato (Reversed blade sword) the wakizashi (Mid range katana)and the double kodachi (Two short swords) over all it was a very realistic show in many aspects.
Never read or watched it but I heard it's great.:)

Lol true. Krillin and Yamcha were weak but trained hard, so I guess DBZ is a little realisticxd
most of the gundam series are reasonable
Never been into that but I'm sure it is. How OP can robots get? lol

Avatar's not an anime.

Wtf, it's not an anime either. Stop failing in one post.

Anime is the term used for most animation out of japan but just because it wasnt made there doesnt mean its not an anime the term is used world wide

Technically avatar and the legend or korra are animes

this is true

Why are you getting so technical? Everyone knows it isn't an anime because it wasn't made in Japan and all, but it's similar in almost every other aspect...

-_-
Same as the first quote just because it wasnt made in japan doesnt meen its not an anime anime are released from several countrys eevery year like korea germany and yes even america the avatar series are one example but for another germany released an anime a few years back called kampfer sorry i dont have a more recent anime but i dont pay much attention to were it comes from as to how awesome it is.

this is also true and i thank you for stating this because most people dont know this and the only reason i know this is because ive been watching anime since i was a child and often i go online and do a little research on the different types of anime including (though not very often) where it is from i hope i have cleared this up a little.

Full metal alchemist from what I remember and the Avatar is not an anime. Naruto use to be reasonable as well but kishi decided to change it into a mini DBZ series =/

No it can't, because Anime is a Japanese Word.

For USA and other foreign countries, it's called Animation, or Cartoon, whichever you prefer. No more, no less.

I meant Avatar, as in Aang. As in Avatar Korra. And so? LoK is easily as good or better than an anime. It doesn't deserve to be called a cartoon, Spongebob is what you call a cartoon

What's wrong with it being called a "Cartoon" ? That's a term USA has made, and you can't deny it. It's in every dictionary, and it often describes
Animations.

Some people even call Anime like that, and you say a something that's not Anime can't be called a Cartoon?

BTW: Never watched Avatar, and i never intent to. I don't watch something that's overrated over whole internet, because it works on my nerves.

"Cartoon" just obviously sounds too kiddy for an epic, semi-deep animated show. Avatar the Last Airbender and LoK are not overrated. Though LoK is much better than the The Last Airbender.
