I do think AoT is overhyped but I still think its pretty good. Just curious why were you so disappointed by it?

The characters in general were major letdowns for me. Especially Mikasa, from whom I had big expectations because of one of my friends' description of her. It really sucked to find out she's a one-dimensional character in a similar manner to Hinata, just a bit more extreme...

I agree. Erin and Mikasa are pretty lame characters. But Levi and Erwin are completely badass.
