Which is Successfully Faster, Kakashi's Kamui or Itachi's Genjutsu's ?

Got into another arguement, So who do you think is faster if they both activated mangekyou at the sametime (keep in mind that itachi can cast genjutsu besides using his eyes)

Itachi's genjutsu is faster to activate. It's a pretty obvious observation. When have you seen someone take 5+ seconds of staring to put someone in a genjutsu?

In terms of how we've seen it used I say itachi

A simple glance is all it takes for Itachi to put someone under genjutsu, so i'd say Itachi.

Lol it took so long during the deidera fight for kakashi to use kamui. Itach genjutsu so fast that u only know when ur already in it

Since most debates usually revolve around who can do the biggest busting range, speed blitz and non escapable jutsus. I ended up in another endless argument online with someone that started as speed blitz ninjutsu into speed blitz-dojutsu which down the line turned into kamui vs any genjutsu. lol So who do you think is faster if they both activated mangekyou at the sametime (keep in mind that itachi can cast genjutsu besides using his eyes)

Itachi is a prodigy Uchiha and Kakashi uses a borrowed Sharigan and isn't part of their clan so suffers from the drawbacks from those who wield their eyes without the Uchiha Body.

Factor in the points I mentioned and UzumakiRyu's above. Both are a hell of a lot faster than Kakashi's. Obito was also Hashi enhanced and I can barely remember the war arc anymore at this stage but it was probably not instant. I think Madara was shocked at the speed of double kamui but you'd have to rewatch/read for the exact timing. As far as I remember, kamui'd body parts can remain so for a few mins or something, that's also something to consider when reviewing.<br /> <br /> But yeah. Check out some of those intangibility/Obito vs Itachi threads if you can. They were pretty wild as far as NB went.</div>

Notice i said, "successfully" <---- as in which jutsu will be completed on each other first.
-I get what you're saying, but there is certainly a requirement speed in that regard. (kinda like frame advantage in games)
