Actually it depends on the char using it
Sharingan Itachi can pawn most Byakugan user IMO ... ( No offense my personal opinion )

Its not Weapon or Tech which is strong ...its the USER who makes them strong !

Naruto taught us many good real life lesson .. i dun remember where but some where it was mentioned a skilled user can throw a normal pebble like a shuriken

Sharingan :
- You can see everything in slow motion
- You can copy other people's muscle movements.
- Stronger Visual Prowess in Genjutsu

Byakugan :
- Gives you X-Ray vision
- 360 Field of vision.
- Allows you to see Pressure Points
- Increases Taijutsu Strength and Precision

Overall: Sharingan is generally more powerful. Byakugan is more pinpoint geared.
