They are more or less equal. I'd rather have the rinnegan though (especially Sasuke's). The rinnegan seems to be more versatile and has shown many more abilities than RSM.
However, when it comes to the seals, I'd rather have six paths yang power over six paths yin power since the yang power has that amazing healing ability.
Also, there are some advantages to RSM over rinnegan. Specifically, if something were to happen to a rinnegan user's eyes (like someone manages to snatch them out like Madara did to Kakashi, or if their eyes get stabbed) then that rinnegan user just lost all of that power. However, RSM/rikudou senjutsu is not something that you can just simply snatch from someone or take.
In other words, in a drastic situation, a rinnegan user is at more risk to lose his power than an RSM/rikudou senjutsu user is.
Additionally, RSM grants a certain durability. If it came to something like a shooter in the building, if a rinnegan user got shot, their body would still crumble and fall just like any other normal body. That is because dojutsu in general don't actually fortify or increase the durability of the rest of your body. They just give you powerful techniques. A rikudou senjutsu user however has more physical durability, so they would be more likely to survive getting shot.
Overall, I'd say they're equal. If I could only pick one, I'd pick the rinnegan, but if I was given the option to either pick one or the other at the benefit of obtaining my choice right now, or waiting a year to obtain both, then I would choose to wait the year to obtain both.
