Guy's death. The SO6P scene was short-lived and unnecessary.
Masashi Kishimoto just confirmed the same thing that was already mentioned earlier in the manga with the SO6P scenes, except he added different scans.

Im in no way exited to see Gai's death, we all know its coming and i hate it.
He are one of those few characters everyone seem to like, hes a fresh character. He are strong, fast, always positive and he have given me many smiles trough the Anime&manga im gonna miss him! Hopefully his last attack will be a grand finale, hoping Madara will atleast be a bit scared or damaged.
A man who lived and will die like a real shinobi! Might Gai! Ill remember that name for the rest of my life!

As much as I love Gai and respect what he's doing and how huge this accomplishment is, I really want to see Naruto's new powers as soon as possible.

This final attack will be something worth remembering. I'll be sad to see Gai go, that's for sure.
