Hard to say. But based on scan, orochimaru had enough time to raise his hands that time he was on his bed. None of totsuka targets reacted so based on that totsuka gets the win.

Totsuka Blade materializes inside your chest and seals you away.

Chidori Spear has a shorter range, is far slower, and can be blocked.

where does it mention orochi believing he couldn't be pierced/cut? if you look at the panel where orochi says "you?", it's right before itachi preform the sealing while orochi still thought it was a meaningless cut. therefore orochi's only reason for that expression quote had to of been because he didn't expect/react to the fast reach of totsuka.
