I'd say FTG is faster than the speed of light.
Since it's a space/time technique, he's literally messing with space and time (no duh).
Hence, he can travel from one point to a different point outside of the bounds of space and time. Therefore, he reach the second point faster than a beam/wave/photon of light traveling within the bounds of space and time can

Nope,if u are taking in a real life situation teleportation doesn't exist & as of now the faster thing or speed is still light..
While in the manga world they are speedstars like flash that can also use the speed of light to teleport not only from space to space but also from timelines to timelines U_U

Both! My explanation was taking real world physics into account. Though I'm sure that the speed of light is the same constant in the Narutoverse and I'm sure that moving outside the bounds of space and time in the Narutoverse is "faster" than the speed of light as explained in my last post.
That being said, I agree that Sasuke's Kirin is nowhere near the speed of lightning in the manga xd
The way I see it is, real world physics apply to the manga, except when they don't xd
Theoreticaly it applies to both. Anything instant is automaticaly faster than the speed of light.

No they wont, you would have to physical travel faster than light inorder to do that, even if they discover another form of energy that travels faster than light it dosent mean they will be able to use if to time travel.

Its impossible or anything with mass to move at the speed of light because the faster you travel the heavier you become, the only way would be if you had an infinite amount of energy so timetraveling using that method is practicaly impossible.actually i man to say dat nly...bt we never know f d future wat it may turn out to be....!!!
Yes i agree with u but in real life,it is not a fact that teleportation is faster than the speed of light,the only relating thing to that is that to archive teleportation U have to go faster than the speed of lightU_U

and in the imagination world teleportation can be archive if u go faster than the speed of light But even teleportation itself is sometimes slower than raw speed
