thats because yamato+naruto used wind+water to make it stronger. on the other hand since Kakuzu did the same thing to his fire tech, i guess they cancel each other out, so madara obviously takes this

Madara used two Fire techniques - Katon: Goka Mekkyaku, and Katon: Goka Messhitsu


And yes, Madara's technique is much much much better.
