For combat purposes, shunpo due to the versatility. But, you know, when used by someone with incredible reflexes and base speed like Minato, combined with his ability to mark his targets or practically anything along the way, FTG can become better.

I think this is very subjective to the situation, if Minato can get a few FTG kunai's scattered around the battle field, or mark his surroundings accordingly, he can certainly win in a contest of speed.

After all, the display of speed by the Youroichi, the goddess of flash herself, was oddly identical to what was displayed by Minato to take out many enemy nin by seemingly appearing at multiple locations. This combined with the fact that Minato can retreat to a kunai or seal that maybe continents away for recovery and rehabilitation purposes make FTG better in my opinion, although based the conditions the battles take place, the results may waver.

I feel that Shunpo is better compared to body flicker than FTG.

But if you've seen starkk he covered massive amount of distance using sonido his sonido was so fast that it was comparable to teleportation techniques

But, its not actually teleportation, just high level body flicker, or shunpo in this case. No matter how fast, he can only be so fast, teleportation is instantaneous and even a millisecond's difference can change the tide. It can perhaps be fast as FTG on certain short distance. But, so can BM naruto, although I do agree that Stark can cover larger distances with speed comparable to FTG than BM Naruto. The fact to remember is, FTG is a teleportation based off on disregarding barriers of space and time.

On long end maneuvers however, FTG is more effective and when used by someone with such reflexes as Minato who had time to take out a kunai and throw it behind an oncoming attack by A, FTG will triumph, even on battle fields of limited size.

Yes I agree with u on the fact that FTG is really effective for long range but when it's close hand to hand combat the shunpo is more effective coz it can be used almost instantaneously without using any seals, in minatos case where he uses his Kunai's or places a seal to mark where he's going to teleport next but in any case just like I said the FTG is faster but shunpo is more suited for close range fighting style after all the FTG is a teleporting technique ofcourse it's gonna be faster

I mean no offence, but, by this logic, the same can be said about the body flicker technique, yet we know that Minato's FTG is far more deadly than simple body flicker.

Those who use normal body flicker will be instantly fodderised by Minato, heck we saw what happened with A.

I actually prefer the flash step more cause it can be used instantaneously, FTG requires seals to be used but in my opinion FTG is faster so which is more better and why and what do u prefer shunpo or FTG

isnt it shunko

But I assume u know that shunpo is a lot faster than the body flicker but it would be hard even for minato to keep up with someone highly skilled in sonido or shunpo like ichigo, starkk, ulquiorra and many others who have mastery over flash step and sonido but anyways I agree with u

Well, yeah. High caliber shunpo users can give Minato a run for his money.

But, normal shunpo users are basically the same level as normal body flicker users. We also know that Minato practically kicked the ass of A, who was the fastest guy in NV, and by assuming that says something, I still believe that the end result would give Minato to be the victor against even high level guys like Youroichi or starkk.

PS: I don't include anyone other abilities, this is based off on just a pure shunpo vs FTG contest.

Ofcourse all my opinions are a lil tilted in Minato's favor. He's my favorite character, it natural that I root for him. :D :D

Yes I agree minato could solo some high tier bleach characters in terms of speed but still he's gonna have some trouble with starkk a person who travelled miles in a mere instant he was know as the most efficient sonido user in all of the 10th Espada and according to Pixar scaling starkk speed is over mach22 and minatos is Mach 25 so it's safe to say minato is faster but still even if he can't keep up with his FTG he still has suffiacant speed to react to his movement considering he has to place seals it will be a fair enough match

You forget that there is the goddess of flash, Youroichi.

But, yeah. Both can give Minato some trouble, but in the end, FTG is more efficient if used properly.

I think there is no need for questioning Minato's reaction time. He can keep up fairly easily, and placing seals is hardly taxing from how he was seen doing it on that Kumo shinobi and B without them even noticing that he had done something like that.

The way ur putting it I guess he can even beat goku LOL but still ur argument is valid I have to agree when it's in terms of speed minato is pretty efficient

Well, as I said, Minato is my favorite character, so, much as I try not to, all my arguments end up being a lil too tilted in Minato's favor.

If you feel that I'm being too partial, just ignore that part. Its become kind of a habit to defend Minato that I can barely prevent making quotes like ULTIMATE SOLO KING MINATO IS UNDEFEATABLE AND UNBEATABLE AND INVINCIBLE WITH NO LIMITS.

shunpo looks like soru from onepiece, they just clash at the same time with little time to react. FTG we don't know it's full capabilities because it has 3 levels
Really?so far we have only seen two
