Which is better Part 1 or Part 2

Part 1 is better, beginning of Part 2 was okay.

Series overall is a 4.5/5, exlucding the war arc.

They are pretty equal, though part 2 is longer thus has had a few more "bad parts".

Both are good in their own ways, in many different ways. Both are great, so I can't say for sure.

Part 1 by far. Not saying Part 2 is bad, but Part 1 was way better.

I think part 1 Naruto was generally better considering all the dynamics, fights and action. I like the shippuden part and the evolution of Naruto's techniques and Sasuke vs Itachi but I gotta admit some parts became very boring and I turned off the series for a long time and came back to it after. Loved the Pain arc and I'm now loving the war arc too with team 7 reunited again!

I'd say part 1 is better (in my opinion) because I felt that it focused on fewer characters and could have much more development on those characters and since it was part 1 there were more secrets about things and characters which added to the suspense. Part 2 is nice too, but like someone said earlier it's longer so it has more bad parts and god knows more fillers

Part 1 was good.
Early Part 2 was alright up until the War Arc. Part 2's Prime was the Pain Arc.

So I'm going to have to say Part 1 was better.[SUB]

Part 2 by far for me at least it's so much more epic with the pain arc and the war arc I just can't wait when the anime catches up to the manga it's gonna be so epic with kakashi and his sussano juubito and naruto and sasukes power ups

Part 1 for me

Part 2 dragged on too long, just long enough for characters to get DBZ like power boost to the point that ninja that were considered elite like Zabuza are total fodder in comparison now; totally dissing on what was great in Part 1

Part 1 just seemed more epic, a little more real. Kakashi was still the man. Itachi was lord and total b.a. There seemed like so much potential with the Neji character. More mystery.

Back in Part 1 the Sharingan was just a little better than the Byakugan and there could be lively debates about which was better; before the Sharingan got totally hauxed with the ability to evolve to other more powerful forms

The fights in Part 1 also seemed more about skill and technique rather than who the most explosive one-shot tech

Part 1 Definitely.

The Animation artstyle for the characters were finer and more detailed
There was Comedy (unlike now)
Emotional scenes aren't as Forced as they are now.
Less heavy on Flashbacks
More people got to shine other than Naruto and Sasuke
...and Finally......fewer Illogical Asspulls.
