I am going for dhz I am including db as well together the two are too great a pair of action series for Naruto to trump.

After all DBZ and DB threw story out and focused the whole series on fighting and it did that WELL. What do you guys say about this?though?

DBZ has fast fighting and ki blasts. All attack are pretty much the same. But the fight were cool of course

As for Naruto, character abilities are different from each other and that kinda makes the action better.

DBZ threw story out? Care to iterate on that further?
Naruto does have more of a story to it, but DBZ paved the way for the rest of the shonens after it. The sagas were intense, and each one left every 10 year old in the U.S. waiting on the next episode to find out what happens 'next time on Dragonball Z'.

To answer your first question, I think they're about equal in terms of action. Naruto has more feats in it rather than different forms and colors of an energy beam, but DBZ also has different villains rather than a different Uchiha with questionably the same motives.

DBZ >>> Naruto

Naruto has lots of variety, however most of the attacks are pathetically weak. Also Naruto characters are slow and lack reaction time so fight scenes are not very exciting

DBZ is all about fighting, Naruto is more about friendship, emotion and talk no jutsu

i agree with you on the story thing i just said that because i gave up trying to prove otherwise when comparing it to naruto, and just pretended i agree with them.
