The best hokage.
1. Tsunade (Made peace with the other nations ending up with an alliance. Also she had to clean up messes left by her predecessors.)
2. Hashirama (Tried what Tsunade did, but ended up failing, mostly because of Madara, whom he let run free.)

From here on out I have no idea, every hokage from here made a lot of mistakes that ended up causing a lot of suffering to the world.

i think tsunade was good as hokage but when she got the title of hokage, danzo already had a lot of power and influence to take him out of comision, so she couldnt stop danzo, though i dont qualify her as the best hokage she is a middle term because she couldnt solve the danzo problematic or any of the other problems hiruzen left which were a lot, but rather she kept the leaf working and didnt make the things a lot better but also didnt make it worst but now i think about it tsunade made pein upset and then pain used the superpowerful almighty push destroying the leaf so it's kind of her fault for provoking pein.




but like the title said you cant consider the actions of the character before he became hokage, this list is just considering the things they did as official hokages not before not after, therefore naruto and kakashi fighting against kaguya is not an acomplisment as hokages, they have to be hokages at the time of the action, the same can be said about hashi, tobirama, minato and hiruzen helping in the war, they were not the current hokage at the time so that doesnt count

Hiruzen is the one responsible for Danzo. He's the one who let him do as he wished. Do not blame that on Tsunade.
Tsunade did make peace with other nations though.

1.Hiruzen(like 40 years)
2.Tobirama(like 25 years)
3.Kakashi(like 15 years considering he was already hokage in the last when naruto was 18 and he had just retired when naruto had a 10-11 year old son, so naruto should be like 31-33).
4.Hashirama(like 10 years)
5.Tsunade(like 6 years, she was hokage when naruto was 12 and she was retired when naruto was 18).
6.Minato(like 2 days and a half, no i'm joking like 1 year)
7.Naruto(like a 3 weeks considering he just had taken officially in chapter 700)

Boruto and his classmates are first year academy students. Meaning they are 7 years old. Look at their heights. Also Himawari is a year younger than Boruto and she wasn't enrolled at the Academy.

The Epilogue takes place 10 years after the war, making Naruto 27. It would also fit with The Last since Naruto and Hinata got married at 19 and Boruto was born soon after.

And why wasn't she able to get rid of Danzo? Because he did what he wanted for what, 40 years? Just killing Danzo obviously wasn't the answer.

i didnt mean killing him but taking away all the power and influences he had, also disolving the root and taking care of the dirty job as a hokage too

Taking away Danzo's power and influences would have been utterly impossible. He had been doing what he did for 40 years. His status in the village was pretty much secure.
Danzo still did work for the benefit of Konoha, even if his way were questionable. Also, I doubt any hokage in the end knew exactly what he had been doing, I mean, he made a pact with Hanzo. He was still working with Orochimaru after he left the village. I bet no one knew.
