Which hokage was more of a hero to the village

Which hokage do you think was more of a hero to the village was it
hashirama that stopped madara from attacking the village or
tobirama or
sarutobi that stopped orochimaru or
minato that stopped the nine tail or
tsunade that protected everybody in the village when pain blew it up

Honestly it was Minato hands down no questions asked.

Hiruzen, he fought the kyuubi too, and saved it from orochimaru. So he did it twice.

I think both Minato and Hiruzen were both equal heroes because they sacrificed their lives to protect the village and end the threat. You can't say Minato is more of a hero if they both did basically the same deed, which is successfully protecting the leaf at the cost of their lives. Hashirama was also a hero but he was powerful enough not to have to die to end the threat.

Hiruzen was old. Hiruzen actually succeeded in destroying a major threat unlike Minato (Obito, the target, started a war and caused all of this)

Hiruzen only delayed orochimaru. Who still ended up getting Sasuke, which was his main goal. And then Sasuke ended up causing many problems in the ninja world as a missing nin.

Orochimaru was still a major threat despite losing his arms, so I dunno what manga you were reading

Yeah he was a major threat but Orochimaru got wrecked by Sasuke after too. Sasuke went insane because of Itachi and yet again Obito. Minato is one of my favs, but he's a not a very good Hokage.

They all had the will of fire, and did what they thought was necessary.

Hashirama created the village and the environment for different ninja clans to co-exist, he protected it from one of it's biggest threats even though he didn't totally eradicate it and I can't imagine the villagers not loving him.

Tobirama did what he thought was in the best interest of the village. But ultimately fanned flames that would later haunt the village.

Sarutobi was strong and seemed to be wise according to his nickname. But he let Danzo run loose and do as he pleased. He let Orochimaru escape and that came back to bite the village in the butt.

Minato was admired by all, he was strong. As a jonin he made his name known. He stopped the 9 tails' rampage at the cost of his life, he failed to deal with Obito and that bit the world in it's butt.

Tsunade with all of her strength protected the villagers from Pain's jutsu, but couldn't stop pain.

All of them as Hokages had their downfalls that contributed to the events of the day, all of them except Tsunade. Thats not to say that she was perfect or that she was the most heroic hokage.

Every single Hokage failed. I can make a very long list for each of them and their failures, so don't try and single out one because minato didn't even have the most failures.

And Orichimaru is the main reason Sasuke is where he is now, he gave him the curse mark, took him from the village and trained him.

I already edited it and rephrased it. Btw right now Sasuke is helping save the world and so were the Edo Tensei. You could say Orochimaru living was a good thing.
