In the war arc I think you can see a little of both,Shy yes but when Naruto is in trouble you see a different Hinata one that fight to keep Him safe. Maybe with the next movie Naruto the lat movie and the Naruto project you may see a little of both. A Blending sines if She feels confident in being Naruto's Woman it would show in Her day to day dealing with others.
