Which important fight? Uchiha VS Senju? I cant think of another fight more important than this one.

there was no specific fight he was talking about. he was just saying in GENERAL that whenever they have an important mission that cannot fail, thats when that move was used to ensure completion of the mission

Pls note the word used in the manga.

"During an important fight"

It refer to one singular very important fight to the Uchiha clans.

Its not like the manga mentioned "During any fight"

The creation of izanami is almost irrevent because an uchiha can only change the outcome of a siuation twice using izanagi before hes completely blind. Once hes blind he can no longer change the outcome of a battle. Anyone agree?
