Pretty much, but not exactly. Pain made it clear he did not know Jiraiya had Genjutsu of that caliber. Reason being he didn't know about his SM and his ally toads that could cast it. Yet he still kept 3 bodies in reserve just in case. That was his trump card and the fact it was such a massive trump card made it possible for him to never loose a battle.
He wasn't directly aware Jiraiya could kill all 6 bodies at once, just that he was strong and keeping bodies in reserve was good battle strategy.
I'm seeing few Itachi vs Sasuke.
That fight had a decent amount of strategy.
While in Bomb Guy(C4/3/5) vs Sasuke the strategy was nothing but a mere 2/1 things.
Itachi vs Sasuke displayed: Making thunder from heat, forcing out a hidden chakra to seal it, giving the other MS, whatever weird stuff Sasuke did with that windmill making it split and all

, and using clones to conduct genjustu after being attacked.
Also wondering why no one mentions Naruto/Bee/Itachi/ vs Nagato, that one probably had the most amount of strategy for the few panels.
Itachi vs Sasuke. I really do think its the Itachi vs Sasuke fight. Itachi had planned it before he even killed his clan and executed it swiftly. Imagine fighting someone just to awaken his MS and willfully conceding to him without him realizing it even until after the end.
