Which duo represents Naruto & Sasuke best?

Yah it's hard to pick since they all represent Naruto and Sasuke in some way. Orochimaru didn't exactly stay with the intention of killing Jiraiya since all he desired was to learn every jutsu in the universe and live as long as possible. Obito also never had the intention of killing his once best friend Kakashi and all he desired was World Peace and a world where he and his lover lived happily ever after.

With all of that said, I'm gonna go for Hashirama and Madara since Hashirama has the 'Will of Fire' and Sage Mode and so does Naruto. Madara on the other hand resembles Sasuke alot, I think we can all agree to that. They're appearances are alike, they both have a dark, arrogant personality and both desire to become powerful shinobi. Madara and Hashirama also became best friends and then split.

Jiraiya & Orochimaru, then madara & hashirama, last kakashi & obito.

Oddly enough all these pairs resemble Naruto & Sasuke in certain aspects. Like madara & hashirama could be an older representation of Naruto & Sasuke, while Jiraiya & Orochimaru seems more like the current Naruto vs Sasuke. I don't know how Naruto compares to either Kakashi or Obito, so..

I think it's Jiraiya and Orochimaru.
For one, both Orochimaru and Sasuke can summon snakes and Jiraiya and Naruto, toads. They both have similar battle strategies wtc. But that's from there training. Orochimaru left Konoha with a certain goal in mind - as did Sasuke and Naruto/Jiraiya tried to stop them and failed. Jiraiya and Naruto both tried to impress an unattainable girl in which Sasuke and Orochimaru didn't care about. Naruto and Jiraiya were both perverted and late bloomers while Oro and Sauceke were both prodigies which had a not so good life. Naruto and Jiraiya are both openly For Konoha while the other two are Anti Konoha.

That's because Madara has a crowd to show off to and has had many fights on a completely different scale than ordinary fights. Fights such as Deidara vs Sasuke or Naruto vs Pain are like a walk in the park compared to Hashirama and Madara's fights. No wonder he praises him, which is probably the only thing he does as a 'good shinobi'.

Jiraiya and Orochimaru are nearly mirror images of Naruto and Sasuke.

It's definitely not Kakashi & Obito. Mostly because it's ambigious who is meant to be like who there as Obito actually shares as much traits with Naruto as he does with Sasuke.

Well it's not Kakashi and Obito. Kakashi has had character development and Obito had a personality.

Orochimaru left and Jiraiya decided to try and track him down, so that sounds like the most suitable comparison to me.
